Hey Matt, it’s Nick.
A few weeks ago I reached out to your employer to send a message down to you regarding the status of your backfield. From my perspective, it was pretty well received and I had thought that this might be the start of a new era in Detroit. Disclaimer: I could give a shit if the Lions don’t win another game this year, I just want Kerryon Johnson to get me 20+ Fantasy Points. Nonetheless, I think what I had to say held some weight …
… and I also know that last week I got a little carried away on Twitter calling you a clown and essentially sending a tweet every time LaGarrette Blount was on the field.
Thinking about it, I now understand that your job is to win the game for the Lions, not to win my Fantasy week, which I lost. With that said, I wanted to offer an apology for going all in and claiming that you should be fired despite the win against the legendary Patriots.
In today’s political climate asking for someone’s job because of something so irrelevant as my Fantasy Team is wrong. All it takes is a hashtag and a few angry people on Twitter to sway public opinion and the next thing you know that person is on the unemployment line with their name dragged through the mud for no reason other than someone else’s selfish anger. I don’t want to do that. I’m not going to call for your job anymore …
IF I SEE #29 OPENING UP THIS GAME TODAY YOU CAN BET YOUR CANDY ASS THAT I’M GONNA BE ALLLLL OVER IT.
Even if I don’t see the first carry of the game because I don’t pay for GamePass, I BETTER see my Stat Tracker go up with SOMETHING because Kerryon Johnson should be getting that rock. If I see ANYTHING but #33 in that backfield you will be hearing from me. Sure, I don’t think you have Twitter or any other form of social media #footballguy, but rest assured, the people will hear me. I don’t give a damn if my Tweet gets 1 Like, YOU’RE GETTIN’ A TWEET!
PLAY KERRYON JOHNSON. TELL LAGARRETTE BLOUNT TO TAKE HIS 2 YARD STUMBLIN’ ASS TO THE BENCH AND GET COMFY. GET ME MY 20+ POINTS AND THAT’S ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT!
